During the month of October, I’m giving away TEN copies of The Sound Mind Investing Handbook, by Austin Pryor, to my readers (this means you).
This is the fifth revised and updated version of The Sound Mind Investing Handbook, and it’s a great resource for managing your money from a biblical perspective.
I first learned about Austin Pryor and his Sound Mind Investing company over 20 years ago on Larry Burkett’s “How to Manage Your Money” radio program.
This book and its author have really stood the test of time to be trusted resources used by thousands of Christians, and they’ve been endorsed by Ron Blue, Dr. Charles Stanley, Randy Alcorn, Mary Hunt, and other teachers you trust.
I was privileged to meet Austin Pryor’s son, Matthew, a while back, and he gave me these copies of The Sound Mind Investing Handbook to give away. Click here to learn more about the book.
Would you like to win a free copy of The Sound Mind Investing Handbook? There are three ways to win:
1. I’m giving away FIVE copies to people who share a comment on my blog (in other words, five people will win one copy each). To enter this way, just share a thoughtful comment on any of my posts at MoneyWisePastor.com.
Please don’t just type, “I’m writing this so I can win a free copy of Sound Mind Investing.” But feel free to ask a question or share a comment from your own thoughts or experiences on a post that is meaningful to you. It doesn’t matter how old the post is that you’re commenting on. Anyone who enters a comment between now and October 31, 2012 will be entered to win. And I’ll randomly choose 5 names from among all the commenters.
2. I’m giving away THREE copies to people who have “Liked” my Money Wise Pastor page on Facebook (in other words, three people will win one copy each). This is a random drawing from among all the people who like us, so if you haven’t liked us yet, we’d sure “like” it if you would! 🙂
3. I’m giving away TWO copies to people who send me an email with an idea or suggestion for a topic they’d like to see me cover on MoneyWisePastor.com (in other words, two people will win one copy each). To enter, please send a message to rich (at) moneywisepastor.com or use the contact form here on my site.
Please note that this contest is open only to people living in the U.S. and Canada, because I’ll be shipping the books to the winners in the mail.
You can increase your chances of winning by entering two ways or all three ways.
At the end of the month, I’ll notify the ten winners via email (or Facebook message) to give my congratulations and ask where I should send them their book.
If you have any questions, please let me know. Thanks, and best wishes!

Kevin, thanks for reading, and for your comment!!!

Hi Rich…caught side of your blog on Facebook. Great resource you are giving out (I’ve read a previous verson, but don’t have one). As a pastor, it saddens me how many people lose out on opportunities because of bad financial mistakes. If more people practiced the advice of Crown.org and Sound Investing, there would be a lot less of that financial counseling taking place.
Rich says
Hey Paul, thanks for checking out my site. Hope you and the fam are doing well in the D. I totally agree re: how we miss opportunities because of bad financial mistakes. I’ve met more than a few young couples who had a vision of a ministry they wanted to do, but they had so much debt they couldn’t go forward with it at the time.

Really like your site’s design. I like the clean look! I’m going through the Bible & Money section now to see what you have. Take care!

MB Hunter, thanks for stopping by, and for sharing your comment. I’m working on a master Bible & Money page that will have links to all the Bible & Money posts. Don’t have it finished yet, but here’s a start: Bible & Money Page.

I was curious if you ever thought of changing the structure of your
website? Its very well written; I love what youve
got to say. But maybe you could a little more in the way of content so people could
connect with it better. Youve got an awful lot of text for only having one or two
pictures. Maybe you could space it out better?
Rich says
Hey Wilda, thanks so much for sharing your comment and suggestions! I’d be glad for you to share your ideas at any time, as I’d like to make my site as user-friendly as possible.
